Monkeytown is not like any any venue we’ve played before (hence the need to evolve). So for this show J and I have been learning to use the Processing environment to create visualizations that react to the music. We’ve also been working with Bathysphere to get their visualizations to do the same. These will be projected on Monkeytown’s four projection screens to surround the audience with our imagery. J posted one of his first proofs of concept on YouTube:

We also spent a long Saturday night running around NYC photographing everything in sight for some of our visuals, and I must say it’s coming together beautifully. It should be a fun time. Hope you can join us.
